Last half term we were learning about: British History - 1066 and all that.

 


Our team Class Dojo score was: 4684 (end of Autumn Term)

We are the most proud of: The continued determination of our teammates to keep learning despite all the disruptions and the improvements we have all made with our presentation and key writing skills.

This half term we will be learning about: In the Jungle.



Our key Learning skills for this half term is: Critical and creative thinking.


We will be developing it by: Engaging in an independent home learning project based on our learning on rainforests. We will add to it as parts of our learning peak our interest.

Our class books are: The Flower by John Light, The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling & Tales of a forth grade nobody by Judie Blume.


Our guided reading text is: Varjak Paw by S F Said.

 


In Maths we will learn about: Multiplication and Division, money and Statistics.


In English we will learn about: Non fiction texts, newspapers and instructions, linked to our learning in science and the wider curriculum.

In Science we will learn about: Plants, what they need to survive, how they are adapted to their environment and how they reproduce.

In Topic we will learn about: 


                                          

Homework: Learners in KS2 will have weekly Multiplication and spelling tests. For their homework they are expected to prepare for this by practicing the spellings and their target times tables. We also hope that children are using Timestable Rockstars website to help speed of recall of these vital learning facts. All learners should also be reading regularly at home and talking about the books they have experienced with adults or siblings.
